Well, I'd like to work with someone who's been with the company for more than two or three months.
Thank God for tomorrow.

And thus, the same kind of jack-ass that ruined ff.net moves on to mm.org.

Daniel, as much as Amanda's parents hate you, they fear me even more, remember?

Normally I'd be appalled, but being she was to marry into the LDS, I think they may have done her a favor.

Say the Mantra with me...
(Amanda wasn't there, so it's just J.T. this time, not J.T. and Amanda.)
Customer comes in today, right? It's me and Daniel R. in the store (appearantly Movie Gallery thinks that MI3 being released on a Sunday would counteract the natural slowness of Sunday business... morons...). Anyway, customer comes in and is ready to check out. They have me pull up their account and it's got $63 (yes, that's sixty-three dollars) in late fees and hasn't been used since April. They immediately start in on the typical "No, no, I don't have late fees" and also say that they've been in within the past month. I politely (yeah, POLITELY) ask if there's another account that has her name on it and they're "No, that's my account." Finally, they get pissy, don't rent and leave. Five seconds after they're out of the store, I start working my technomagic on the computer there and...
Lo and Behold, if the HUSBAND hadn't opened his OWN account instead of paying her late fees and they had been using IT since April (and she didn't even know...). Like the Mantra says, "J.T. is ALWAYS right." Daniel was amused at my, shall we say show? That is to say that, since the store was empty, I threw my hands up and shouted to the Heavens about being right as always.
I'm gonna love it when they go in there to talk to Dara and find out that they were wrong...
But yeah, after that, I was actually shocked for a moment a little later today when someone wanted to actually PAY a $45 (+/-) late fee... Managed to sell them a $50 EDRC, so that's good for me.
Oh, yeah, more good news if you read this before speaking to me, Amanda - Daniel's also been threatened with Metrics-related termination...
And now for some actual truely good news. I might have found a site for Highway 2...

Yeah, I saw the envelope for him. I work with him Saturday.
This is why you do not aquire a company with 500,000 dollars worth of debt just to piss off the compation.

What about the war story? Or the possible Highway 2 location?

I've told worse war stories (A night with Maranda, for one) and I thought you would put the Highway 2 locale in the Good News section.
