Naboo is rediscovered, having been removed from the starcharts by order of Darth Vader to repay his mistake that led to his creation and Amidala's death. Much as the Emperor had trained Mara Jade as the Emperor's Hand, Vader had let one Force-sensitive youth live and trained him in the ways of the Force, appointing him to guard Naboo...
He is Johus Orden... the last Sith Knight.

Since I'm making a few custom Attacktix figures based on this idea, I thought I'd revive it with a little Dramatis Personae...
Johus Orden - Last Knight of the Sith, apprentice of Darth Vader, Guardian of Naboo, doesn't believe in the Force itself having a Light side and a Dark side but that the 'light' and 'dark' sides are defined by one's own actions and the reasons for them, thus someone can be 'Light', 'Dark-Light', 'Light-Dark' or 'Dark'. Uses Djem So and a golden-bladed Lightsaber. Johus' loyalties are to his Master and the planet he was entrusted with first, Empire second, which makes the Emperor distrust him, giving Adm. Redal orders to kill him the moment he even appears to be disloyal - which will come to a head when the Rebellion finds the lost planet...
R3-M8 ('Mate') - Instead of the more durable R4 (Jedi Varient) astromechs such as R4-K5, Johus Orden instead chose to take on as his partner one of the rarer R3 series astromechs, possessing a far greater memory capacity to keep any information he might need close at hand, from ship deployments to status of prisoners and members of the Imperial Forces blockading Naboo. R3-M8, usually called Mate, became the reason why Johus could do so much, all at once - by using Mate to store the information by which he made his decisions. When not by Johus' side, Mate is usually found gathering information in case his partner needs it - for any reason. Having never been subjected to a memory wipe of any form, Mate is usually considered by most Imperials who encounter him to be overly curious, insubordinate, and a nusince, protected from deactivation only by threat of death at the hands of the Sith apprentice, yet beyond that, few ever pay him much attention.
Imperial Admiral Vesney Redal - Admiral of the Star Destroyer fleet that has Naboo blockaded from the rest of the galaxy (My explanation as to why it's never mentioned in the Original Trilogy) who is there officially by the Emperor's command, almost constantly in conflict with Johus. Redal is a true believer in Palpatine's New Order, as highly rated in his loyalty as Grand Moff Tarken or Grand Admiral Thrawn, firmly believing that any being other than human is less than human. In fact, Redal's promotion to Admiral came from his acceptance and loyalty to Palpatine in the waning days of the Old Republic, when he supported Palpatine's transition from Chancellor to Emperor. Admiral Redal has no qualms about ordering bombardments of Gungan cities and Wookiee encampments to enforce his authority over the Naboo system... Unknown to him, the crews of the ships under his command are rapidly becoming disenfranchised with Redal's wholesale disregard for life; even other hardcore Imperials in the blockade fleet find his willingness to ravage parts of the planet disconcerting...
Imperial Captain Geer Rommon - Captain of the Resolute, finds Adm. Redal's methods and the pleasure he takes in them distasteful. A skilled mechanic in addition to his other skills, in his rare off-duty time he can often be found halfway inside some vintage or damaged piece of machinery, attempting to piece it back together. Capt. Rommon still believes strongly in honor and loyalty, and yet knows that one day soon he'll have to decide between personal honor or his oath of loyalty to the Empire.
Grozurra - Grozurra is a leader among the Wookiee that remain imprisoned on Naboo as Imperial slaves, a position he gained after saving his fellow Wookiees when an Imperial facility they were being used to build collapsed - Grozurra was trapped by an durasteel girder while rescuing others, resulting in the injury that has permanently left the fur over the scar he recieved white. He would have possibly died there if Johus Orden had not led an Imperial rescue team in to search for other survivors, a rescue that Grozurra considers him to owe a life debt to the Sith Knight for. Even to this day, Grozurra continues to wear the cloak that Johus used to bind the Wookiee's wounds as a mark of his debt.
Jessa Kelen - Smuggler who accidently stumbled upon the Naboo system while she was attempting to escape Imperial customs and wound up a prisoner along with other smugglers, explorers and other beings who had found Naboo and couldn't be allowed to return to the galaxy with knowledge of the planet and its location. A leader among the prisoners.

Johus Orden's Lightsaber
Hilt length: Nine inches Blade length: Twenty-six inches. Blade color: Gold Focusing Crystal: Naboo-native gemstone cut by Johus over several days from a piece found in an underwater cave. Additional information: Due to having already been naturally attuned to the Force, the crystal used did not have the attunement to its user than many crystals gave the Lightsabers they were used for. In its place, a DNA-reader security system and small 'library' chip was used, anyone who picked up the Lightsaber was scanned and if their DNA was not in the system, the Lightsaber did not ignite. Because of the location it was found in, the crystal allowed Johus' lightsaber to be used underwater without the traditional two crystals and bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse. Some theorize that the crystal used by Johus was similar to that used by the Jedi Exile around 4,000 BBY due to its natural absorbtion of Force energies.

The starfighter used by Johus Orden is one of the Eta-2 Actis-class interceptors formerly used by Darth Vader before the advent of the TIE-Advanced. Whether or not R4-K5 makes an appearance or if the astromech role will be solely filled by Mate... I don't know...
