Well, this past weekend sucked big time: I missed CN Saturday night AND slept through the Mythbusters Jaws Special. Hopefully I'll catch it on Wednesday...

I didn't watch it because I wanted to wait until Wednesday.
NOW: "Dog, The Bounty Hunter" on A&E.

Well, I caught JLU Sunday. I'd like to say it was excellent, but I can't. After the previous ep, with the entire League in combat, this was a let-down. This was my problem with JLU from the first show: All these characters, and the show focuses on the Big Seven, with a few extraneous others thrown in from time to time. Problem Two: Lexiac. 'Kay, they've fused together, and used nanites to create a new body. How then does Flash simply shatter the armor and out pops Luthor, totally unscathed? And after all he did, Supes would have been totally justified in burning a hole through his skull, and he still stopped himself? Idiot. The ending was utterly predictable too: "Even though it was our mortal enemies pulling strings, and we've in fact done nothing wrong, I'm disbanding the League and decommissioning the Watchtower, thereby reducing our effectiveness and screwing the world over." The only thing that did surprise me was that it was Green Arrow and not some random civvie (or maybe Lois) that called on him to change his mind.
If this Saturday's episode is the last, so be it; I'll watch to get closure. If not, I don't think I'm wasting anymore time on it.

"Epilouge" is the epilouge to Batman Beyond, taking place 15 years after that series. The only real reason it's airing as a JLU episode is because the three main characters are Terry McGinnis, Bruce Wayne... and Amanda Waller.
It's just the season finale for JLU, not the series that I've heard.

Mythbusters, "Jaws Special", Discovery Channel....
To paraphrase a Mythbuster, "J.T. want big boom..."

Gibb, have you noticed that Christine only lasted for a few episodes and that Scottie hasn't appeared in a while? (Maybe Grant is her replacement or something?)

As strange as it'll sound coming from me, John T. "Is there any way we can blow it up instead?" Magnus...
I HATED the last sequence of the Jaws special, the Exploding SCUBA Tank Myth...
Fred the Foam Shark Head was cute.... I liked it... I mean, they didn't need to blow him up along with the SCUBA Tank...
Hell, if they hadn't, and they ever sold props from the show, I'd have LOVED to have bought him...
What a waste...

I was impressed with how much of "Jaws" turned out to be plausible. I doubt the shark would survive ramming a boat or a shark tank, but it was still cool.
According to Wikipedia (I was bored at work and took a chance on it being there) Christine and Scotti both left the show last season. Christine got married, and Scotti "wants a life". There's some question on wether there are any more segments with Scotti filmed, but not yet shown though.
Next month looks like some good myths, can't wait. ;D

Hm.
I don't know, blowing stuff up for a living sounds like a good life to me.
How about you?

Running Commentary Time Again:
Before it begins, I'd like to note that I'm a T/M fan, not T/D (That's a Terry and Max relationship, not the canon Terry and Dana one.)
Terry as Bruce's son? Even if not for the resemblance, I can see it in the fighting style. It's the one Bruce used at his peak. (Genetic Memory, folks.)
Amanda Waller aged MUCH better over the fifty years since JLU than Bruce over the fifteen since BB.
Superheroes always good-looking... Ha! I know better...
Yep, definately like his father. (The whole "What did you do?" "I stepped over them" exchange is twice as funny now...)
There's Inque... but who's the new GL?
Aquagirl, Warhawk (John and Shayera's son.)...
And Terry quits the League...
Doesn't seem like it hasn't even been ten minutes, guess that's what a good story does...
Shades of Nightwing...
McGinnis, this guy faced down an immortal (Ra's A Ghul), a pissed off thirty-three year old is nothing.
No, McGinnis... Batman is who you make him... *bows head* Jean proved that...
Hm... Past Ten is like Sindel from MK3 (And now J.T. shows his age...)
Can they still say the word 'kill' on TV?
That's the Bruce...
UGH! Queen was a GUY! Ugh!
Listen to yourself, McGinnis... You even SOUND like him.
*chuckles* Good one, Waller...
Ok, forget kill, can we talk about reproductive systems on cartoons?
Anyone who says Batman would never resort to murder doesn't know the EARLIEST days of Batman's career.
*winces at the sight of that damnable box* I hated ROTJ just for bring Dana back into the mix...
Nice reversal of the TAS into and use of the TAS theme...
Overall? Great, both as a JLU episode and a Batman Beyond episode, except for one thing...
*stalks off to sharpen his sword so he can KILL the person who kept bringing Dana back into Terry's life, especially the big Romeo Foxtrot in ROTJ, instead of expanding the Terry/Max relationship.*
