Nah, he's straight. You've gotta remember that, gamewise, it basically IS the Renaissance.

Don't ruin it for me. He's certainly not doing Fran, I'll tell ya that much.
And he's such a pretty man.

Which, I think, is part of the reason he and Fran are 'together' - She ignores him, doesn't swoon, and is basically 'what he can't have'.
...And we all know how thieves (and Sky Pirates) feel about things they 'can't' have - It only makes them want them all the more.

He certainly doesn't act like he wants Fran. That... and aren't viera an all-female race?

I would think it more accurate to state that "The only Viera we see in the game are female". After all, the Viera themselves had to have come from somewhere, correct?
I've seen a couple different theories, from us only seeing a village of female Viera and there being other villiages of male Viera and of Viera couples (Middle Eastern type thing, I guess) to male Viera being more 'wild' than females and thus living in the Wood itself and not in villages.

Pretty much every source I've seen say that Viera are all female.
And for a moment, think of the Koorime. All female there, if you don't count Hiei. I'm thinking the Viera are like them.

So...
How do Koorime reproduce?

Self-replication. Not exact clones of themselves, but similar.
Then you have the wild card like Hiei who's half Koorime, half fire demon. His momma went out and had an affair, so they can also reproduce sexualy, though it's frowned on. And the offspring are always male and always killed.

So, Krjn, Ktjn, Fran, the Viera Wayfarers (I've encountered two different ones by where I'm at in the game) and the Viera from the "Viera Lover" sidequest are like Hiei's mom?

Pretty much....
FRAN? Our Fran?

What do you mean?
I simply meant that she (and they), like Hiei's mom, broke away from the traditional Amazonianesqe customs of the Viera and went out into the world itself. Only one of those I mentioned is KNOWN to be in a relationship - the "Viera Lover" Viera.

Oh, okay. For a second I got confused. Never mind.
...The weapon I just equiped to Balthy is long, phallic, and purple. You sure he's not gay?

Considering that, with them given the proper Licenses, any of the party members - even the girls - could carry the same weapons...
No.
And on that note, I'm reminded of what someone once said - "I tried to devise an alternate system where Clerics would only be forbidden to use weapons that were associated with phallic imagery.
Then I realized that, within D&D, this would pretty much force them to be a bunch of unarmed pacifists."
The same applies to FF - if you removed every weapon that could be construed as having sexual undertones, there'd be no weapons.

Name parts of the penis - shaft and head, and a nickname for the penis - cock.
You've got an ArrowHEAD, a wooden SHAFT and one of the feathers is known as the COCK feather.
