I'm not thinking about what the captain and crew of the U.S.S. Colton might be like in the Mirror Universe (Shattered Universe, whatever one wishes to call it.).
I don't know, however, that the first officer wouldn't be able to be part of the crew since she's part-Klingon and in the MU the two Empires (Terran and Klingon) are enemies, not allies.
It would not be likely, too, that eventually mirror-Captain Magnus' honor (because light or dark, my honor would still be the most important thing to me) would require him to rebel against the Empire. (I've even had a thought of the I.S.S. and U.S.S. Coltons meeting in a Star Trek... whatever I'd call it... version of "Mirror, Mirror", "Dark Mirror" or "Shattered Universe" and that happening, with the I.S.S.'s crew supporting him since they, like that of the U.S.S. were mainly hand-picked by Magnus or selected based on his criteria, and of Mirror-Magnus, after the U.S.S. leaves, taking a hand-based paint-sprayer to the Colton's hull to change the I. to a U.....)
