I miss Spyke = missed potential.
(In the end, he was just a token black character who didn't even really get his own powers until just before they took him off the show.
Throwing bone spikes is the same power of a Morlock named Marrow, also known as Sarah. Until Spyke/Evan got the armor plating, he was basicially just a male black version of Marrow, then he got something that made him distinct and they took him off the show except for what? Two guest appearances? ANGEL got more than that and he wasn't even ever one of the Evo X-Men! Plus, in season two, they basically replaced Evan as the team's prankster and rule-breaker with Bobby, so they just stopped developing him. (Evan got ONE episode in season two, "African Storm", Kitty, Kurt, Rogue, Jean, Scott, they all got more than that!))
