I'd have to say yes.
Much like Turbo in my G.I. Joe stories, if it wasn't for Turbo's fears of failing those around him, enclosed spaces, and snakes (and yes, the requisite Indiana Jones jokes do get made...), he'd be a Gary Stu...
It therefore makes sense for Kirby to be afraid of those things since otherwise he'd be 'too perfect' a character.

If being a slacker with a C average can be called "perfect..."
Tyrone doesn't watch TV.

I'd say yes, he does. Tyrone probably is a Discovery/TLC/etc. addict. (I know I am)

You would be wrong. Tyrone doesn't watch any television. He thinks it's all crap (since Junkyard wars was pulled, anyway) and only listens to the radio and reads.
Your turn.

I've seen a whining Power Ranger. (And I don't mean Tommy when J.T.'s giving him a hard time about Kimberly!)

*Nods*
Not sure that they DESERVE to be called a Power Ranger... I mean, they broke down crying and moaning just because they made one little mistake, but yeah, it was Alyssa, the White Ranger from Wild Force (and that old adage is true, getting to know something gives you so many better reasons to hate it.)
I rented "Ninja Storm: Prelude to Thunder" and ended up with "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Wanna-Be Ranger".

*Nods* Amazingly, yes... and we don't even CARRY MMPR, the earliest we have in stock is PRLR, Lightspeed Rescue.
In the Power Rangers (season two) episode "The Wanna-Be Ranger", as the Power Rangers are teleporting out of the Command Center later on in the episode, they could be mistaken for the Literati Rangers.

*Nods* Yep! They're in two rows, four in back, two in front... and it's like this: Tommy, Zack, Jason, Kim. Trini, Billy...
Or; Green, Black, Red, Pink, Yellow, Blue.
Or; Jessica, J.T., Justin, Yolanda, Amanda, Daniel.
I have The Shadow, Dick Tracy, The Phantom, and The Lone Ranger on DVD or VHS.

*Shakes his head.* False. I have Dick Tracy on DVD, I have three VHS and two dvds of The Lone Ranger, but so far my search for The Phantom and especially The Shadow has been unsuccessful.
You take lead, Blue.
