Seriously, I've just realized something;

Jusenkyo is the Training Ground of Cursed Springs, correct? As in water that carries a curse... a permanent curse.

Just how do the instant Jusenkyo packets that appear later in the series work - I mean, one, they're powder and two, they're one-use only, not permanent...

Maybe the packets are dehydrated and only carry less potent versions of the curse? And in order to be permanent they need the water from the springs themselves?

Another theory that I've heard is that the Amazons have a means to remove the Jusenkyo curses that's somehow been worked into the Instant powders.

(The Ladle and Kettle that lock and unlock curses support this possibility, which would also explain why there was no real remorse about Shampoo getting one of the curses...)
