Because they fail to properly capture the character interact that draws us to that show or movie.
I mean, would a Batman Beyond video game be as good as the series if Terry wasn't cracking one liners while Bruce was telling him how to fight, trying to keep his mother, brother, and Dana from finding out he was Batman, and confiding in Max?

Should I hurt him for suggesting Glyph use a hardbound copy of LotR in one volume as a weapon against possible intruders in "Slumber Party"?

No. I've seen one of those one-volume books. Those things are sturdy! Had he said to use characters, then you'd have reason to maim him.

I dunno. Haven't seen hide nor hair of them for a while. Glyph did ask Clayton to MST "Slumber Party" a while back, though. He didn't like it.
Would you use the Bible like Bryan suggested she use Rings?
(Note: I own a one volume editon, although paper bound.)

Yoshitaka Amano (He created the look for Sephiroth and others.), Ken Akamatsu (Love Hina), Azuma (Can't think of his first name, but he did Azu Manga Daioh!), a few others whose names I can't remember right now.
