Okay, perhaps Sean Connery, then. I dunno. I'm still running a blank...

Yep, Sean is the "star", and the movie's directed by John Boorman. Also, the line in question is spoken by a giant floating stone head.
Yes, I'm serious.

Yep!
I've tried twice to watch the whole movie, and fell asleep both times.

Since it doesn't look like star is going to write anything new for this thread, I'll blow some life into it. Here goes.
"Boy this sure is an awkward moment." <British accent>
"Awkward moment? I'll give you an Awkward moment. One time during sex I called Louis, Frank. Your move Sherlock."

That sounds like "Family Guy", but I'm probably wrong.

Yay!! I love that show. Oh, Fox is having a marathon on the 18th and 25th. (Basically the "Best Of" that was on CN a week ago.)
Anyway: "All you people are so scared of me. But it ain't me you gotta worry about now. "

I know the answer to that one, but I'll let other people give it a shot if they want to.

Right genre, sci-fi/horror. Movie was made in 2000, and spoken by someone who was quite unkown at the time.
