Hey guys, I've been on a nostalga trip on eBay, picking up the G1 Tranformers I never got (wish I woulda started a few years ago, back when the re-issues we actually being, er, issued). Anyway, I've wound up with a G1 vintage Sunstreaker and an Energon era Ironhide. (bought a three-bot-lot for G1 Hoist and Grapple reissues) Before I put 'em back out on eBay, I though I offer them to the board first. Let me know if you're interested or want to see photos.

Okay, they're over at s70.photobucket.com/albums/i99/gibbj77/TF%20For%20Sale/As you can see, Streaker is G1 vintage, pre rub-symbol. Paint is chipped in a few small places, but the chrome is pretty much a lost cause. Back and front right tires roll fine, but the left is stuck. All tires are cracked to a small degree. No decals, but you can get them at reprolables.com for less than 15 dollars. (I've reconditioned a Thrust using them, and plan to do the same to Dirge, Ramjet and Soundwave the same way.) Joints are played-with loose, but he stands and transformes okay. I have two missles, the left fist, but no rocket boosters. With a little attention and some spare parts, he could be made into a show piece. Comes with tech-specs. Ironhide is MISB. The box is torn on the left side at the bottom of the window, which is loose on that side as well. Otherwise he is complete. Look 'em over, and email or PM me with an offer if you're interested.

I think this is cool, but YMMV. As you may or may not know, NASA put what amounted to a camera connected to a VCR in each of the boosters for the latest Shuttle launch. After the boosters were fished out of the Atlantic, the video was analyzed for foam striking the wings and so forth. They've now put that video up on their site
STS-121 Right Forward Solid Rocket Booster Video Real Video or Windows Video. The video lasts from just prior to engine start to the booster bobbing in the ocean for five or ten minutes. No sound either, btw.
