I'm now up to chapter 41....  Convoluted doesn't begin to describe it. This series has more cameos than a 70s disaster movie; God-freakin'-zilla is in this fic! I think you said it best JT, this is like a soap opera: secret siblings, long lost loves returning, divine intervention, Kodachi and Tatewaki Kuno, sane? I love it! ;D Kuno sane, that's nothing in AoTW, he's runing his fathers company and studying Juskenyo. Althouh Dachi did mellow out when she started her relationship with Kasumi. |

I just realized that the link to my story doesn't seem to work. Luckily I have a FF.net account. I also forgot to give a little info on my story. Okay, I'm modifying my recommendation on "Nabiki 1/2"
Read it just 'till Ranma and Nabiki get married.
I was really into the story until that point. When Kasumi got turned into a vampire I was a little dubious. The fact that EVERY FEMALE CHARACTER was bi, if not straight out lesbian, though, got old, real fast. When the story was wrenched to a screeching halt so the author could get in a round of Christian bashing I haven't seen outside a ACLU meeting, I gave up.
Look, I understand we all have biases and people we disagree with. What I don't understand is writing an entire arc of what was an excellent story just to denigrate one of the three great monotheistic faiths. Don't get me wrong, I have issues with how the Church is run. I haven't been a regular church-goer since grade school. But I've never claimed that anyone's faith is based on lies, murder, and inadvertent devil worship. The fact he claims several times that interpretations are the correct ones, and that the rest of us are too blind to see it just took things too far.
YMMV, however.

The Wild Horse ThesisTake one Ranma Saotome, and drop him into Shinji's role in NGE. Oh yeah, he's at the hight of his abilities, armed with foreknowledge of how the series ends, and is a wee bit smarter than usual. Much enjoyment ensues. Very highly recommended.
