"Time Traveling Martial Artists" by Cloud Dancer 1014. After the failed wedding, Ranma disappears for a month and comes back changed, more mature and intelligent, with connections across the world... and who's this Doctor he keeps talking about? (Warning - do not read if you don't like the following; Panda-abuse. Ukyo as a sister. Ukyo/Konatsu. Ranma being less arrogant and more intelligent (Minor expert on Greco-Roman history, instead of always trying to prove he's the best, now has a 'I'm the best, I don't have to prove it' attitude.) Ranma and Akane actually getting along Companions actually having contact with each other after they're no longer travelling with the Doctor. and Saotome Ranma, agent of U.N.I.T.) Joking aside; it's well-written and I recommend it for any Ranma and/or Doctor Who fans.... which is actually just about all of us, innit?

Makes me think of Naruto becoming something similar to Scarecrow from Batman with the fear obsession and intending to use chemicals... Yes, there's a great deal of 'Naruto becomes the new Batman' stories, but I could almost see this one working even better... and at one point in the comics there was the 'Scarebeast' arc for Scarecrow, the tailed-forms from Kyuubi's chakra could be used to create a variant of that... hm... |
