Ryo's got it worst, though. He's borderline emo half the damn time.

His virtue is "Rightiousness", so he takes the blame for everything, feels that when something goes wrong it has to be his fault...
I agree with something that Duo once said about Quatre: "I wouldn't be surprised if he said it was his lack of effort was why there's no air in outer space". Or something like that. Fits Ryo pretty well.

Ah. If someone got even a scratch during battle, he thought it was because he wasn't trying hard enough. Pitiful.

Don't forget what Will and I were talking about - They (SMS afflicted and associates) will also lose their powers near the end of the series only to get them back JUST in time to win the final battle. (Whether or not they lose them again after said final battle varies.)

What If... Wolverine was the first mutant, instead of Apocalyspe?
... Captain America was created during the American Revolution?
... Norman Osbourn ran Stark Enterprises?
... The Symbiote bonded to the Fantastic Four?
(Crossover) ... The Ninja Turtles became X-Men? (They are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, after all.)

I'd like to see the Revolutionary Cap one for real...
Say the guy who gave the Tommy clone that stayed in that area the name of 'Captain Thomas Hart'...

"Why should we believe you?" Sunstreaker snapped.
Optimus shook his head, "I'm not asking you to believe me, I'm not even asking you to follow me... I'm asking you to believe in Prime and his ideals, I'm asking you to believe that I'll follow them."
Carefully, two pink and white figures made their way through the crowd.
"Careful, Commander."
"I can handle myself, Arcee..."
At the voice of the older femme, the crowd parted out of respect to let through one of their leaders. Stopping in front of Optimus, Elita looked him in the optics for several long moments...
"Orion..."
Optimus closed his eyes, "Part of him lives on in me, Commander Elita, but I'm not him."
"More than you think, Optimus," Elita answered, surprising Optimus by reaching up to kiss him on the cheek.
Within the crowd of gathered Autobots, Bumblebee was the first to react...
"WAHOO! Welcome back, Prime!"
With that shout, the Minibot launched himself at Optimus, tackling him with a hug as other Autobots swarmed around to welcome the leader...

Colonel Williams had never seen anything like it as the green-clad figure laid waste to the British soldiers, shrugging off the musket balls of the Redcoats and firing back with a green fire from his knife. Finally, the smoke cleared and the figure stood there before him.
"Who are you?" Williams asked cautiously.
"Power Down," The figure said with a nod, stepping forward, "Someone like you, someone fighting for the side of good."
"But what... how..." Finally, Williams settled on an easier question, "Do you have a name, sir, that we make know what to call the man who won the day?"
"Tommy Oli... Hart. Thomas Hart."
"Well, Mr. Thomas Hart, we owe you a great debt for today, and I don't intend to be thought to not honor my debts..."

Question... Would it be too Deus Ex Machina to tie up a loose plotline while at the same time saving the Literati Ranger's collective asses during their time on Phados?

I don't think it's too bad. As long as it happens only once or twice.

It'd reveal what happened to the Green Ranger clone/Capt. Thomas Hart's Power Coin, (as well as the reason J.T. has no problem meddling in Tommy's love life) y'know?
