Trophies: Assassin's Creed II: 84% Ghostbusters: 65% Mercs 2: 47% Force Unleashed: 20% (Funny story... I spent six hours on the Prolouge level just so I could rack up the kill-based trophies...) Godfather II: 1% Legends of Wrestlemania: 43%

Now Playing: Ghostbusters. I've given up on trying for any 'Beat the Game on Hard' trophies, even if it means I'll never reach 100% on some games, since all it ends up doing is frustrating me and making me irritable... so only Ghostbusters trophy left for me is 'The Destructor' since I'm not going for 'Are You A God?' or any of the multiplayer ones.
Interesting Easter Egg; (WITH SPOILERS) on the Hotel Sedgewick level, while you're on the twelfth floor hunting Slimer, after he hides in the vase you pass by room 1221, the Spider Witch's room from the 'Return to Hotel Sedgewick' level... down and to the right of the doorknob, visable only with your PKE meter, even though it doesn't perk to it, is a spider symbol.

Trophies: Prototype: 30% Alpha Protocol: 85% Assassin's Creed II: 100% (Platinum!) Final Fantasy XIII: 34% (You can't get a third or so of the trophies without beating the final storyline boss... which is a little hard for J.T. considering that by the time Orphan unleashes three Judgements, he's doing more damage than my character's max HP!) G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra: 32% Ghostbusters: 78% Heavy Rain: 22% inFamous: 64% L.A. Noire: 100% (Platinum! for the main game, nothing on the DLC, so I'm not counting those cases/trophies) Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2: 52% Mercs 2: 52% (World in Flames has just never gotten me like Playground of Destruction did - this is one of those games that I'm closing the book on...) Force Unleashed: 36% Godfather II: 100% (Platinum!) Sabotaur: 100% (Platinum) TF: War for Cybertron: 52% White Knight Chronicles: 0% (See Mercs 2 and FF13 - I'm sorry, an hour, hour and a half into the game and you're still escorting a cart from small town to big city... it doesn't fulfill my primary entertainment criteria*) Legends of Wrestlemania: 100% (Platinum!)
Now Playing: Well, besides WFC Multiplayer (Yes, run and cower in terror for the end is upon you, for I have given in to online play!) that I'm doing that probably doesn't really count... Having to take a break from Heavy Rain to keep from burning the game onto my retinas, which means I'll probably play UA2 or InFamous - maybe Rise of Cobra - for a couple days instead.

Since for some reason Resonance of Fate doesn't want to play properly (I'm thinking it's the disc, unfortunately... the game itself is pretty good I think), I'm WFC'd out and don't really feel like playing any of the other games I had on deck to switch between, I'm taking a cue from 'The Princess Bride'...
"Vizzini always said that when a job goes wrong, you go back to the beginning. This is where we got the job, so this is the beginning." -- Inigo in the Thieves' Forest.
With hopes that it'll rekindle my gaming muse (and maybe even some of my other muses whilst at it), I'm going back to the beginning; to one of the oldest games I still own and play, to the game that one could almost say set a course for my life...
Now Playing: Final Fantasy 7, currently between the first reactor mission and the train back to Sector 7 Slums, just after meeting Aerith for the first time.

Now Playing; Just Cause 2...
A good game so far which, interestingly enough, is actually rather what I had originally been expecting Mercs 2 to perk as. Funny that.

Now Playing: Final Fantasy X on PS2 - I'm actually a little excited, I'm heard tale of a way to send Seymour Mortis on Gagazet crying for his mommy; you just get the components so Rikku can Mix 'Trio of 9999' and then unleash hell with multi-hit attacks like Tidus' Slice And Dice or Blitz Ace limits, Wakka's Attack Reels or Lulu's Fury. We'll see what happens when I get to try it.
Right now... I'm at the Al Bhed Home during the 'Macalania/Home/Bevelle' chain of events. Quick question; anyone else notice that, during the cutscene where we see Home from the air, it actually looks somewhat like Migar from FF7? Tall central spire like the Shinra Tower, then a circular city, then eight other towers around the outer edge (though Home's seem to be some kind of pullies or something, maybe wells? instead of Mako Reactors....).

Well, the Trio of 9999 trick worked, I've made it to Zanarkand and the Trials there.
It's a strange feeling, advancing further that I've ever done before in this game...

Remember what I said about the 'Princess Bride Rule' and going back to the beginning?
Final Fantasy 7.
