Thankfully, you aren't my doctor. = I've found that people without Ph.D.'s can figure people's problems out better than those who have one.
Oh, and field medics and self-taught medics sometimes know more than M.D.'s, if that's the doctor you mean.

The average life expectancy of a Curtindolph... = At one time, this is where I'd make a comment about "If only the good die young, I'm gonna live forever" - I'm not going to this time. Instead, "People talk about the horrors of war, but what weapon has a man invented that even approaches in cruelty some of the commoner diseases? 'Natural' death, almost by defintion, means something slow, smelly and painful."

= Too true. Grampa died in a dogfight (he was a Tuskeegee Airman), True Gra'ma died of pnumonia (and with a smile on her face...), Gra'ma Lu died of "lack of squares", (Over 60 years of smoking and she never got cancer...), Mom died of a heart attack, my biological father died of liver problems. And I'm too scared/poor to go to the doctor and find out what's wrong with me...

(DUNCAN: Oh, okay. Are my brothers in that band?) = I really don't know enough about VJ's band to answer that. = *bursts into a cadence* C-130 headin' down the strip. Airborne daddy gonna take a little trip. Stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door. Jump right out and count to four. If my chute don't open wide. I gotta 'nother one by my side. If that one don't open too. Look out below, I'm comin' through.
