The system of Cyrix, population: five point one seven gigs. Not the largest of systems, but it's home to thost that live there. Until recently, the system's Guardian was Bit... until he broke the Guardian Code.
At the same time, in another world, a power surge shot through the computer of Tom Samuels, and through Tom himself, pulling him into a world he never knew existed: the world inside his computer.
Now Tom travels between the world he was born in and the digital world that Cyrix exists in. Although games are no longer a threat, the virus known as Zap remains, as well as the renegade Guardian Bit. Tom is now Cyrix's only defense, aided only by Desktop, the keytool that, until he went rogue, had been Bit's partner and the sprite Athena and 0-type binome Eybec.
He has no Guardian Code, for his enemies he has no mercy...
And most importantly... He has NO idea what he's doing.
