Combines ROTJ and JLU: "Epilouge", just before Terry goes after the Joker the final time, Bruce holds him back and tells him the story of Amanda Waller's "Project Batman Beyond"

"Recessive genes if it was me, maybe... but both me and Matt, ten years apart? Not likely. Did you know of this when...?"
"When I let you keep the suit? No. I didn't learn about it until after Inque, and by then you were starting to believe you were Batman in your own right, I thought that telling you then would cause problem, make you think that the only reason you were Batman was because you're my son."
"And is it now?"
"You, Terry McGinnis, ARE Batman... that you're also my son just adds to that, not the other way around."
Terry gave a half-smile and pulled down his cowl, "Time to go demonstrate that the new generation likes angry clowns about as much as the old."
