Sorry about the post in the wrong spot but it was the only way to get a message out but it is great to be able to talk to you guys again and the spell check is the best thing have used so far so that says much i know and i would like to know if there is a way to add a pic from my home PC for my avatar?

Not directly from your computer. But if you have a photobucket account, you can load your image onto there and link it from there.
