So. Just how bad did it get? I was knocked out most of the day with the return of the Evil Cramps so I didn't wake up until it had started melting.
I was awake for when it started and the huge ass flakes and was suitably pissed when I realized my day was f*cking ruined. Was gonna be an IHOP day.
...Wanna come along for today's trip? Friend's birthday and I promised to raise a glass to her. Also I want to show you my new Irish history book, the author is bonkers. I'd be leaving the house 'round 9:00, 9:30 scratch that, make it noon, 12:30, sleep thing isn't working out.

Not as bad as it started out to be, h'actually. Around eleven or so the snow started turning to a 'wintery mix' of snow and light rain, so the roads ended up slush and even the ground had bare spots under trees and such. By afternoon it wasn't even coming down anymore and what was down was starting to melt.
Believe me, I'd love to - unfortunately, that damn 'real life' thing has other plans; I've got work and two shops to do today, plus I'm getting dragged along to Harbor Freight to tote and carry.
Thursday, I'm being made to help with preparations for a birthday dinner...
But if you're free to meet up somewhere Friday, I'm actually picked up a couple things over the last few weeks you'd probably get a kick out of seeing.
Oh, and I've been told to tell you that anytime you want, you're welcome to come here; free wi-fi and no one will bother you.

Okay, where and when?
Edit; It's going to have to be a case of I get dropped off and you'll have to drive me home, it looks like. The Echo's going to be needed to run errands.

IHOP, sometime in the morning. I'm gonna shoot for 9:30-10:30. Call ya when I leave the house. Sorry for not being clear earlier, seriously had just woken up and did go back to sleep.
And that's fine as long as you don't mind running by my grandmother's for a few minutes while I pick her brain about a pattern layout. EDIT: Or Krogers for tea and Aleve... and whatever else catches my eye in the International Food aisle. I'll buy you some pocky.

Grandmother/Kroger's; Not a problem.
IHOP, probably between 0930 and 1030, okay... I should warn you, there's plans being made by other parties to have breakfast before they start errands, so you might want to brace yourself in case they decide to be idiots...

Understood and partly expected it.

Of course, whether bin Laden's been 'officially' killed or not, since I didn't pull the trigger myself I'll always have the shred of doubt.

Honestly I'm doubtful on the whole "he was alive when we found him" thing. Prove to me that he wasn't dead and someone just shot him because that looked better, and then I'll buy the "we killed him!" stuff.

Considering the large Pakistani military base in the city, there's been theories put forth along the lines that he died of natural causes and they handed over the body; the 'crashed' helicopter and blood in the compound just being staged to make it look like a real raid happened.

(continuing on from the news fader... bloody thing refuses to recognise BBcode...)
Football games, Black Friday...
Ah, yes, and the stress, thanks for reminding me, Love.
Lunch with yours and dinner with mine?
Of course - I'm gonna need the oasis of sanity after dealing with that lot.
'Oasis of sanity'? We're talking about my parents, Johnnie...
Your parents compared to my aunts, uncles and cousins.
You're right, my parents' house won't be that crazy in comparison.
Thank you soooo much for agreeing with me.
Well, you are the one who promised his mother that we'd go.
...'A moment of laxity spawns a lifetime of heresy.'
Don't go quoting Warhammer 40,000 at me... you haven't finished the army you keep saying you'll paint for me.
