Because I hadn't heard of the board until yesterday. It's a friend's board, and he wishes to invite us to join it.

Why in the holy name of GOD are WE merging into THEM? Why the hell can't THEY merge into us? We have fucking seniority since they're so new! For Christ's sake, if we move, all the work we've done to get the board known, all the advertising, all the attempts at pushing membership - means shit.
In fact, I'm talking to Amanda on the phone and she says: "This is our board! Who cares if it's dead? At least we don't have Jim-Ohki coming in and cluttering things up. At least we don't have Cyrus Mariner coming in and laughing at us. I am not fucking giving up all those private messages, I have over 1000. I ain't fucking merging, it ain't happening. You should have spoken to us first, we're members too. What is this board about? We don't know what it's about, just that it's a friend of yours... who's the friend? There's a lot of history here, on this board. If you continue on this course of action, there won't be no sex on the honeymoon, and you won't get to visit me when I'm in college, either. And El'dan and El'hir will take Link and Zelda with them next time they run off and they won't be coming back."
