The Pryce is Right (Buffy AU)
What if, instead of Giles, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce had been assigned as Buffy's replacement Watcher upon her arrival in Sunnydale?

The Hellboy Files (X-Files/Hellboy crossover/AU)
Fox Mulder has long been considered the Federal Bureau of Investigation's resident kook - given an office in the basement of the Bureau and assigned to the 'X-Files', the unknown and unsolved cases of the Bureau related to claims of paranormal, superhuman and extraterrestrial activity. Despite knowing he's considered a joke by other Agents, Mulder takes it all in stride since he actually enjoys his assignment, then he recieves notice that he's being reassigned to New Jersey and given a new partner.
What the transfer notice failed to mention was that his partner was sixty-five years old, six-feet-seven... and red with a tail and stone hand.
Alternate titles included; "The Assignment of a Lifetime" and "Agent Mulder, BPRD."

Mercenaries: The Konoha Inititive (Mercs/Naruto crossover/AU)
Thirteen years ago, Naruto Uzamaki was taken out of Konoha, vanishing without a trace on the night the Kyuubi was sealed into him.
Now, Fox Taylor is coming back. Raised and trained by three of the world's best 'Private Military Contractors' (along with their support operatives), he's been hired by the Third Hokage (for what I haven't decided) without the 'old man' knowing just who he's paying to (?)
"Fox, you there?" "Five by five, mom... I mean, boss. Just like New Cal, right?" "Right. You checked out your equipment yet?" "Done and done - M67 frags, Soviet-made sniper rifle for subtle times, RPG-7 for less-subtle occasions, Sig Sauer nine-mil automatic handgun, flashbangs, smoke grenades in all different colors and effects, PDA with satellite uplink, LTD to guide in Mischa if I need to make like Uncle Mattias, I'm set." "Did you remember to pack your other equipment?" "The throwing knives, yes. And the shuriken. But why should I use those 'exploding tag' things when I've got perfectly good grenades?" "*sigh* Bag under the seat next to you, and don't 'forget' it, understand?"

The Adventure of the Time Lord (Sherlock Holmes/Doctor Who crossover - new series, Eighth Doctor, 8/Rose)
Unfortunely, all I have is this scene;
Holmes gave his typical semi-formal bow, "My name is Sherlock Holmes, and this is my associate Doctor John Watson."
The other man returned it, "Ah, a pleasure, Mr. Holmes, to meet both you and a fellow Doctor."
"You're a doctor?" Watson asked, "I don't recognize you and I'm afraid I'm familar with most of the practicing physicians here in London. Doctor... who?"
"Yes. And this is my companion, Rose Taylor."

Nine, then, I guess - it's a bloody pain keeping track of which Doctor's which...
Wonder what they're going to do when he reaches his twelfth regeneration - Thirteenth Doctor - the last 'traditionally safe' one.

Yeah, that's why there's this LOVELY little invention wandering around the internets. Ever heard of it? It's called WIKIPEDIA.
You say it yourself: Research before Writing.

I did. Doesn't mean I can't get my Doctors confused when I go to write it down.

There's A Word For It... (Power Rangers, Conspiracy-Approved!)
Why weren't Tommy and Trent there when Ethan, Kira and Conner were pulled into the future (S.P.D.)?
Simple, they fell into the past - ten years into the past. Now Doctor O. has a choice to make, does he stay out of sight and let time take its course until he can find a way home... or does he try to fix his greatest mistake?
(Hint: The word is... "Imzadi".)
(And yes, Amanda, if I wrote it I probably WOULD include the "Buddy, I AM the future without her and trust me, it's not a pretty sight!" line)

The Cavalier (Original{?} Fiction, inspired by "What If?" Civil War Cap...)
June, 1863. Sgt. Virgil Stradling of the 123rd Illinois mounted infantry divisions of Colonel Wilder's Lightning Brigade had just been given his Spenser rifle and horse before he saw action. Having recently defended Hoover's Gap, Tennessee from General Bragg's forces, Stradling enthusiastically continued to push through the vicinity of Tullahoma. He shot down many Rebel guerrillas and withstood enemy fire. It was glorious. His head swelled with power and blood lust, which occasionally made him overstep his boundaries and commit torturous acts to any he perceived as an enemy. It was what he felt they deserved.
Shortly before the battle of Chicamauga, Virgil's unit rode through a plantation and freed the slaves there. He and several other cavaliers raided the main house and robbed the owners of their valuables behind their commanding officer's back. One of the freed slaves saw him do this and confronted him. Before Virgil could thinks, he struck the slave down with his saber. As the freed slave bled, he cursed Virgil, saying that he never no rest or peace of any kind unless he atoned for his misdeeds. Virgil ignored this as he rode back to rejoin his brigade.
On the morning of September 20, during the battle of Chicamauga, Virgil was shot down covering for a withdrawal of the Union army; one of only 125 Union casualties during the three-day battle. Four days later, he would awaken in a mausoleum along Missionary Ridge. Realizing that the sins he committed led to his lack of repose as the freed slave had cursed him, he set out to find the free man and redeem himself.

Rock, Roll and Remember (Naruto AU)
After discovering the truth and defeating Mizuki, Naruto leaves Konoha in anger, eventually finding his way to Iwa where a simple blood test from a Tsuchikage interested by his appearance reveals his parentage, driving the final wedge between Naruto and his former home...
Cut to the Chunnin Exam when Kenno Naruto (Naruto of the Earth), his team, and sensei Deidara (why? because I think it'd be funny - okay?) arrive to make their mark, practice their art, and basically ruin things for Konoha, Orochimaru and anyone else they feel like.
Oh, well... 'Suffer, villians, suffer.'

The Grand Tradition (Star Wars AU)

Keys to the Kingdom (Buffy AU... very AU... Fish-boy must DIE...)
(Oh, and inspired by Angel episode "Home")
After Adam's defeat, instead of the Inititive being shut down, Buffy is given charge of the operation in a 'let the experts handle it' move, with the Slayer providing the way and the U.S. Government providing the means...
