Hm... Maybe, it's not so crazy after all...
David Kaye, the voice of Prof. X in "X-Evo" played Don Tanner in the tv movie "Susie Q" in which Amy Jo Johnson played the title character in one of her post-"Power Rangers" roles...
(Sidenote: I don't know about others, but Maggie Blue O'Hara (Kitty), Scott McNeil (Logan) and David Kaye (Xavier) actually had been co-voice actors on numerous other series over the years, including Transformers (the newer ones, Beast Wars and on), DBZ, etc...)

HERE's one for the books -
William 'Billy' Cranston (Blue Power Ranger) has the same last name as one of my favorite pulp heroes...
Lamont Cranston, better known as...
The Shadow...
What if they're related?

Yeah, just imagine.
It's "White Light" and Bulk and Skull manage to open the dumpster, so Billy whips out the family power and clouds their minds so they forget who the Rangers are, in fact, so they stop caring...

Scratch that, HERE's a prize-taker (beaten out only by PR:DinoToons...)
Kimberly Ann Hart, Gymnast, Hero, girlfriend of a... slightly dense guy.
Kimberly Ann Possible, Gymnast/Cheerleader, Hero, partner of a... slightly dense guy.
Kim Hart wrote a letter to Tommy from the Pan-Globals breaking up with him for another guy, what if that guy wasn't a new boyfriend, but an old Partner? Maybe Drs. Possible divorced and Kim Possible's mother retook her maiden name, along with Kim, and the real reason Kim H. left the team was because Kim P. and 'Team Possible' was needed again.
I need a nap, bad...

You've gotta admit, though, it makes a twisted kind of sense...
...Not even with Kim and Kim as cousins?

"Quantum Ranger" (Not an Eric story)
"Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished .... He awoke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only guide on this journey is Al, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. And so Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home."
Unfortunately, this one isn't it. The year is 1995, the place is Angel Grove, California, and Sam has lept into Adam Park, a young man with a secret. Adam is the Black Power Ranger. As near as Ziggy can tell, Sam's mission is to convince 'teammate' Kimberly Hart that the Rangers can handle themselves if she goes to the Pan-Globals. Unfortunately for the computer, Sam's not too sure that's the right thing to do...
Original Timeline; Kim goes to training camp, doesn't make Pan-Globals. Tommy goes to college, gets Doctorate, leads Dino Rangers.
'Corrected Timeline' Kim stays with team, going to 2000 Pan-Globals instead of 1996 Pan-Globals, marries Tommy. Tommy goes to college, gets Doctorate, marries Kim, leads Dino Rangers and in addition to teaching becomes co-CEO of Mercer/Oliver Industries.
Heh, Heh, Heh... You may now commence rotten fruit bombardment.

Yeah, I actually thought this one out...
Could you imagine Billy launching into a steam of technobabble that Adam wouldn't understand, but that Sam DOES and then he has to cover up his knowledge? ("Uh... Late night sci-fi movies?")

So many "Voltron vs. Power Rangers..."
Part of the backstory for Voltron (Americanized Lion version) is "From long ago and far away", with Keith, Allura and co. being (at least) the SECOND Voltron Force...
What if Zordon was part of the original Voltron Force? It would explain why he chose Earth as his planetary base of operations (center of the Galaxy Alliance before a cataclsym destroys it and forces them to relocate to Eltar), where he got the ideas for the Zords from...
