I just had a good brainstorm for an ending to a PRL/PROO team-up...
I blame it on one of my hats that I've been wearing lately (not an Indy-style Fedora, though) and Irregular Webcomic's Cliffhangers theme.
For some reason, the "Somebody get me a bullwhip" line cracks me up...

I just had a.... fascinating... Ranma idea. Bear with me on this.
Ranma and Ryoga were classmates in Lower Secondary school (Middle School, for us.), and Ranma didn't arrive in Nerima until some point after school had started to attend Furinkan Upper Secondary (High) School with Akane...
It's stated as being two weeks since Ranma and Genma (and thus Ryoga) recieved their curses, but not how much time is spent in China beforehand. (I'm building up to something here)
Excluding the sleeveless shirt and drawstring pants (which are probably both for purposes of being able to be worn in both forms and to allow free movement when fighting), Ranma often wears a Chinese Red Army uniform (one that seems to fit him like it was made for him) - despite the less-than-cordial relationship between China and Japan - why?
My theory is thus; at some point in China, maybe Ranma was impressed into the Red Army and was part of it for a time (It sounds like something Genma would let happen) before getting away and continuing the training trip.
Probably utter fecal matter, but it was just something I thought of and wanted to share.

Hm. Actually makes me think somewhat of Batman and Catwoman, except instead of Thief and Vigilante it's Thief and Thief.
Here's one for you - excluding the typical Harem series (Ranma, Tenchi, etc.), you'll always find at least one Harem fic for any given fandom (I've seen Harry Potter Harems, Naruto Harems, etc....) and it got me thinking about probably one of the most twisted ideas I've had yet.
A Power Rangers Harem fic with Tommy/Kim/Kat/Haley/Elsa...

Crossover Idea: "The-Boy-Without-Fear" (HP/Marvel)
Don't know the details, but basically it would be a blind Harry, trained by Stick from roughly somewhere between four and six years of age (not sure) until he gets his Hogwarts letter.
Thoughts involve him having a cross between a wand and one of Daredevil's batons (maybe he transfigures or has one made into the other or something) and a bond with Hedwig allowing him to see out of her eyes in addition to having something in the way of DD's Radar Sense...
The weirdest thing is that I have no problem seeing Hermione having some of Elektra's personality traits...
