I just had a strange thought (caused by the commercials for Mystic Force), what if there were to be Power Rangers Literati? Black Ranger - J.T. Green Ranger - Jessica Blue Ranger - Daniel Yellow Ranger - Amanda Pink Ranger - Yolanda Red Ranger - Gibb And unlike most PR series, instead of the red ranger leading or the red and black or green rangers co-leading, it'd be the Black Ranger and Yellow Ranger leading. (Let's face it, Daniel, you're a great organizer, but Amanda's the better fighter.) Now I'd just need to know where our powers would have came from... |

Yellow Ranger - Amanda - "Magic Spirit!" - Witch Spiritzord Pink Ranger - Yolanda - "Siren Spirit!" - Siren Spiritzord (Think FF8 Siren GF) Red Ranger - Gibb - "Warrior Spirit!" - Knight Spiritzord Megazords: Knight, Siren, Witch: Spirit Battlezord Demon, Dragon, Phoenix: Beast Battlezord Dragon, Knight, Siren, Witch, Phoenix: Spirit Megazord (Mode 1) Demon, Knight, Siren, Witch, Phoenix: Spirit Megazord (mode 2) All Six: Literati Megazord (The Knight, Siren and Witch Spiritzords are standard size, the Phoenix is slightly smaller, and the Demon and Dragon Spiritzords are BIG...) Well, since I'm going back to basics, the uniforms are simple. All the uniforms are the color of the ranger, then the guys have a triangular shaped chestplate (Think the first Green Ranger) and the girls have torso armor (like the first White Ranger) and the helmets are styled like the zords' heads. Mine is... well, basically the Green Ranger's except in black. Jessica's is similar to the Pink Ranger's except in green. Yours has two black lines like Hellboy's horns. Amanda's... well, nothing special. Gibb's is nothing special. Yolanda's has two wing-styled pieces on the sides. |

Trini and Amanda face off, then end up talking about dating fellow rangers. ("Huh?" "What?" "I think I just heard them say something about... 'butts stuffed in spandex'?") Daniel and Jason are stuck with their respective partners discussing them. Yolanda is busy drooling over Billy. ("Uh, he IS ten years older than you, remember?" "So?") Kim and Tommy have to deal with J.T. and Jessica. ("I don't care if you are ten years older than me, I don't care if you ARE the single most experienced Power Ranger there is; you let her walk away what? eight years ago? If you try that now, I'm gonna have to whack you upside the head with your own Brachio-Staff.") And Poor, Poor Justin and Zach are stuck being the sane ones. --- "I thought they were friends..." Zach shrugged, "They are, this is just how they are." "Brings back old memories, huh, Tommy?" Tommy looked over at Jason and shook his head, "Not that old for me. Trent and Connor were just as bad." Although he didn't say it outloud, the thoughts crossed his mind that the DinoThunder rangers he mentioned were the red ranger and the former-evil ranger, like Jason and he had been, and more than once he had ended up avoiding Kira and Trent to keep other memories at bay. Memories that were now hitting him full force. |

You're right... His will be the hamster. I had an idea for a Literati Rangers version of babysitting involving having to take care of baby versions of the Dino Ranger's Dinozords. (I imagine they had SOME method of survival, maybe by downloading their programs and designs into a new Dinozord Egg that would then hatch...) |

Computer drawing, maybe? I'm thinking of making Scenic City and Appalachian State College hot-beds of former Ranger activity. (I.E., Literati Blue Daniel, Turbo Blue Justin and Dino Blue Ethan all attending Appalachian State - Justin majoring in Auto Mechanics and Ethan in Computers and Paleontology... yes, I know, two really seperate areas, but the computers were always an interest of his and the Paleontology is because he was a Dino Ranger... Of course, even though blue Justin CAN morph, since the Literati Rangers are there, much like Zack, he DOESN'T morph.) |

I believe You and Justin already are. I believe you and Justin use the holographic recordings in the Command Center's computers to create a 'puppet' Zordon. I believe I can do a good Zordon voice. I believe it involves the original Rangers walking into our Command Center and seeing Zordon telling them that they've been Punk'd and the whole 'battle against universal evil' thing is just really a huge case of sibling rivalry, Divatox and Rita are his sisters, Maligore and Zedd brothers-in-law, Dark Specter his sister's brother in law and so on... I believe Amanda would then walk into the room asking J.T. if they were there yet and promptly Glomp Jason. I believe J.T. then sticks his head around the side of the tube and says, still in Zordon voice, "Pay no attention to the Literati Ranger behind the tube." I believe the others are annoyed (well, Jason and Trini more with Amanda than J.T.), but Zack is just like 'I should have expected something like this...' |

While I was doing my comprehensive listing of Power Rangers, I counted up how many there had been of each color, first by it being their FIRST color (I.E., Tommy's counted as Green, not red, white or black) and then by any additional Rangers who wore that color (Tommy's days as White Red and Black), then I started coming up with names for "Forever Red"-type episodes featuring other colors... "Blue Eternity" was the name for the Blue Ranger version. "Yellow Light" for the Yellow Rangers. The White Rangers get "White Lives" (a play on Tommy's premiere episode as the White Ranger, "White Light.") Jessica and her fellow Green Rangers are "Green Everlasting" Me and the other Black Rangers get to deal with a "Black Existance." Amd one I'm sure will be your favorite... Yolanda, Katherine, Kim, Dana, Kendrex (or Karone, who knows), Jen and the other Pink Rangers are facing a "Pink Future" (I can just imagine the sheer HORROR on your face at seeing EIGHT Pink Rangers at once...) |

By the way, you get a couple NICE scenes in "Blue Eternity", one where Amanda contacts you and it's like "Honey, can I call you back, I'm with about nine other Blue Rangers and we're surrounded by Piranhatrons... If I had told you, Black would have found out and I want to save the world without him getting all the credit for once..." and one nice one where Divatox is mocking the Blue Rangers because the Red Rangers are the ones who normally get the Battlizers, so Ethan goes into Super-Dino Mode, Chad activates his Mega Battle Armor (the ice cannon), and you awaken your Spirit Armor... "Now what was that you were saying, big shot?" -- Carmen in the song "Sling, Bang, Boom." ("Yo, Kidz!" album.) (Of course, you make up for not bringing me along by bringing me back a couple of those neat Piranhatron 'bat'leths'...) Daniel (Literati) Justin (Turbo) Ethan (Dino) Chad (Lightspeed) T.J. (Astro... maybe, I don't know...) Max (Wild Force) Tori (Blue Wind... only female Blue Ranger) Blake (Navy Thunder) Yeah, I think T.J. might be able to make it, but I'm sure Kai and Cestro will be out of range to take part in "Blue Eternity". |

Daniel looked back and forth at the other seven Blue Rangers before stepping forward, followed by Chad and Ethan... "Super-Dino Mode!" Ethan suddenly said, the white diamonds on his suit elongating into spikes which he slashed at the space pirate with. "Battle Booster... Code 687! Mega Battle Armor!" Chad's Ice Cannon materialized and he leveled it at Divatox and fired, knocking her back. "Demon Spirit," Daniel said, crossing his arms and looking downward, "Hellfire..." Flames shot up from the ground around him, "...and Holy Judgement," a blue light shone down from the sky and surrounded Daniel, leaving him in his Spirit Armor as it faded, "Blue Literati Battlized Ranger." Daniel fired the Demon Blaster into the air before lowering it down to bear on Divatox, "Demon Blaster... FIRE!" Three shots rang out in succession from the Demon Blaster, each hitting their intended target... "Whoa," Justin said, awed, "Forget Hellboy, we're talking Anung Un Daniel!" |

Yeah, and no Cestro or Kai... See, to keep us from finding out Zack was the FIRST Black Ranger just yet, I'm trying to limit things that would give it away, and one of Zack's friends being the first Blue Ranger would give it away, and if Billy can't make it from Aquitar in time, then Cestro shouldn't be able to either, and Miranoi is further away than Aquitar is. BTW, about your Rabbit Ninja-Spiritzord? Amanda and I had a thought last night, this should sum it all up: "You're thinking cute, cuddly Thumper from 'Bambi'... Try the Killer Rabbit from 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'." |

Cassidy Cornell. At first she's a wanna-be reporter for the Reefside High news program and along with her sidekick Devin spends most of her time trying to get stories on the Dino Rangers. At one point in the series, her and Ethan get hooked-up over the internet and she and Devin become friends with the Dino Rangers' civilian identities. In the Dino Thunder series finale, she and Devin manage to get THE story, the Dino Rangers' secret identities on tape, but they decide to keep the secret, with Cassidy finally realizing that friendship is more important than fame and they give the Rangers the tape. Of course, you have to remember, it's been two years since Dino Thunder ended, so things have changed - Dino Thunder ended with Ethan at the prom with a girl named Angela and Cassidy attending with Devin, but I like the idea of Ethan/Cassidy (A former Power Ranger and a reporter) so that's what we'll see in Literati... I mean, hey, I already broke up Billy and the Fish-Girl, remember?... To the readers of Power Rangers Literati who see that it's different than what S.P.D. implies as being the future for the Power Rangers, one; the Literati Rangers weren't part of the official universe that S.P.D. was made in, so their presence changes things... Amanda's asked me to change the name of PRL Amanda from Voyles to Violette... Originally she wanted it to be the French word for Violet, but the French is "Yoland"... as in Yolanda. (That and she thought the French was spelled Violete). Since her name hasn't been canonically stated (and niether has Yolanda's and Justin's), there's no problem in changing it. **== Somehow, he felt Zordon would be proud of them... That, or be utterly annoyed by their complete lack of respect. "Oh, man," Zack groaned, realization setting in, "I'm even getting used to THAT..." As he shook his head in amusement, the six notes sounded from his communicator before J.T.'s voice came over it, "All Rangers to the Command Center." The memories of the past he was bringing up caused Zack to reach for his communicator before he caught himself, remembering that HE wasn't the Black Ranger of this team, J.T. was. |
