I will say this though, the movie has brought forth one good thing - I like the "Real Gear" line of Transformers... (Nightbeat and High-Score are presently sitting on my desk.)

That's basically what I said when I read about this over on the Padded Cell.

Well, I can see KITT as a Transformer... (it'd have to have the front part of the car as the chest, as well as a visor-type optic system, so that it would keep the sweeping scanner even in robot mode - including how it sweeps when KITT talks...)

But I think it's something better left to fanfics. I mean, wasn't season four's little "Super Pursuit Mode" enough? Wasn't the failures of Team Knight Rider and KR2010 enough to teach them to leave things alone?
