True, but then they'd have to go after all the other fanfiction authors. Including us! To some, Legolas/Link is just as bad as Dan/Liam is to us.

Yes, that's true.
Ya know, of all the men in that book/movie, the one I have the hardest time seeing as straight is Legolas. I tried writing a het story with him, and it imploded.

That, or since the book really is a war story, there wouldn't be many single females of any race in it.
I mean, think about it. No matter who you are, which would you rather have: Arwen, a selfish little bitch who doesn't give a damn about the family that loves her, or Legolas, who time and again has proven his loyalty to those he holds dear?
