Still got the wrong person, but you've got the trend at least. Dreamweaver is basically a spoiled brat given too much power. Where Dark Ranger attempts to prove to himself that what society told him is true, Dreamweaver is so self-centered that she completely believes that society's high placement of her is correct and anyone who disagrees with it is obviously wrong. While Jon had a real interest in Amanda, the only reason Starr chased J.T. was because of his state of high visiblity and thus, she assumed, similar personality. When she found out that it was quite the opposite, instead of accepting him as he was, she attempted to change him to fit her opinion of how anyone she chose as a boyfriend should be. This drove the two apart and, to J.T., proved his fellow future-Literati Rangers' opinion of her right. Instead of accepting the possibility of it being because of her, since according to how she was treated by parents and popular crowd she was never wrong about anything, she decided that J.T.'s friends were to blame for ruining all her hard work. She spent the rest of their time in school trying to make them miserable, a plan that utterly failed since they paid no attention to the cliques. Even as time went on, she still held malice in her heart, never seeing the truth of the past. Attending Appalachian State, Starr, like Marius, was approached by Dark Ranger (representing Malleus Maleficarum - happens BTS in Ep. 1) and offered power to avenge herself on her enemies in exchange for helping Malleus to reach his goal. Believing that she could later take Malleus' power for her own since she was destined to be a powerful person, she agreed and began, after Malleus and Dark Ranger had failed several times, by attacking the Rangers in their dreams.
Because she fills the position of 'spoiled brat', some of my favorite sources to draw on for Dreamweaver are Princess Vi (from SPC), Princess Morebucks (from PPG) and Princess Aeka (from Tenchi Muyo!).
There is a major arc planned in the (rather distant) future that will leave a permanent impact on the character of Dreamweaver, though, so stay tuned!

The theme of Marius's character is "obsession gone wrong." The idea that a person becomes so engrossed in one thing -- in Mars's case, Truman -- that it becomes their whole identity. Marius doesn't care about power he only wants Truman - to be with Truman, to live and die for Truman, to eliminate anything that comes between him and Truman. He doesn't care about the other rangers, Malleus or his goals.
As for Luis, he's a loyal, hard working, if somewhat gullible, guy. He and Justin should be among the most "normal" people working at Highway 2. He'll do anything for his family.

So, basically Mars' thing is that he wants to punish Daniel for coming between him and Truman? Thanks... I'm kinda limited - SSR doesn't have character images for GekiRanger (Jungle Fury... where do they come UP with these names?) or for anything before Jetman. So, now that you guys have seen it, what do you think of Zack's new Ranger suit? |

Ditto that. And yes, Marius is basically punishing Dan for coming between him and Truman, and he isn't above dragging Dan's friends into it either.
(While I know Amanda would fight back against Mars, not wanting to be a damsel in distress, she's not the only one he cares for, and Dan may have friends outside of his Highway 2/Ranger circle.)
