True story - For a minute, I COULD NOT remember that Motoki was named 'Andrew' in the English dub of Sailor Moon...

- ...You've ever been caught muttering things like 'Bloody American grocery stores'.
*Raises hand and nods sadly.* Jessica caught me at it and pointed out that, contrary to my speech, I am American. In my defense, however, I'd like to point out that I had just spent five minutes looking for canned sliched olives in - you guessed it - the canned goods, only to find out that they were in condiments. Honestly, I think of olives and I think of mushrooms and tomatos, not ketchup and pickles...

- You might be Literati if... people around you start talking about the 12-21-2021 Mayan and Aztec-calendar based ending of the world theory and you remark that it won't be the end of the world, just the aliens' 5000-year taco run.
- ...You hear '2012' and go stick your head in a pillow to muffle the shout of "Five-thousand-year taco run!"

- ...You make a shopping list for when you go to the bookstore.
*Raises hand and nods* I realized I was doing this last night when I noticed that I had written down the books (yes, and DVDs) that I planned to pick up next time I went to Barnes and Noble. "My Fair Lady" on DVD (turns out that, shock, I only have it on VHS), the '49 "Batman and Robin" serial on DVD, "The Phantom" on Blu-Ray (Comes out next Tuesday, h'actually, but I could never find it on DVD and I've been searching for a few years now), Yu-Yu volumes one and two, Naruto volume two, maybe three (Naruto as a resource for my response to Writer's challenge), along with a few other books (mostly the new 40k novels from the Black Library)... (Off-hand note; according to the Black Library site, "Firedrake" comes out in November... hm... My birthday, book two in the Salamander/Tome of Fire trilogy, and I play a Salamander-successor chapter... hm...)

- ...If you ever started out quoting the 'Band of Brothers' speech from Henry the Fifth and ended up mixing it up with the Invocation Initiate from 40k...
Guilty... I actually caught myself reciting the Invocation Initiate (which, admittedly, is based on Henry V anyway) when I was reciting along with Kenneth Brannagh a few minutes ago. Shakespeare: "For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother, be he ne'er so vile this day will gentle his condition." Warhammer: "For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my Battle-Brother eternal." I ended up saying "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers... for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my Battle-Brother... eternal... oh, bugger."
