Mars Decepticons “Till all are won!” When Megastorm overthrew Straxus and rose to become leader of the Decepticons as Megatron, Thunderwing and Stormmaster stood behind him to become air and ground commanders, respectively. It was when Megatron began to turn a rebellion intended to bring equal rights to Cybertron into a force for galactic domination and suppressing the femme members of the Decepticons by pressing them into non-combatant or high-risk combatant roles that many of his former Gladiatorial teammates, including Thunderwing, Stormmaster, and Onslaught and his Combaticon sub-group, sought to depose their leader and former ally. Their plan, however was stopped by former teammates Soundwave and Shockwave and by Thunderwing’s lieutenant, Starscream. While Stormmaster and Thunderwing both managed to escape with parts of the non-Megatronian Decepticons, Onslaught and the Combaticons were captured and had their personality chips removed. Thunderwing would travel out into the depth of space to found his own branch of the Decepticons, while Stormmaster and his forces would travel for a number of millions of years before arriving on the fourth planet of a yellow sun star system. What these Decepticons didn’t know was that roughly a million years before, the Autobot Ark and a spacecraft known as the Nemesis, crewed by Megatron’s forces, had crashed landed on the third planet of the system and had been disabled, both forces in stasis. On the planet that humans would one day call Mars, they began to build a thriving society, based on the tenets that had once been the beliefs of a team of Gladiators and that one of them still lived by; “Strength, Honor, Freedom.” This society would be roughly dragged back into the war, this time on the side of the Autobots, when a volcanic eruption would awaken the Cybertronians on Earth and bring the Cybertronian Wars there. **== 1. Name: Archangel Function: Interceptor Alt Mode: Jet
Motto: “Time to take notice - You got NO skills!”
Bio: Whereas his wingmates prefer to practice ACM tactics, Archangel considers himself an Interceptor, preferring missiles to lasers and speed to maneuverability. Unfortunately, this leaves him a severe disadvantage when fighting in robot mode or in an area where maneuvering room is limited. Unlike many of the other aircraft-based Mars Decepticons, Archangel refuses to subspace his wings and walk while in the caverns, and over the centuries it has become a common sight to see a blue and white Seeker flying at high speeds through the caverns, the other Mars Decepticons having grown used to it to the point where Archangel’s sudden appearance no longer startles them as he flies past.

Name: Blastzone Rank: Mars Decepticon Ground Commander Function: Construction/Demolition Alt Mode: Cybertronian halftrack tank
Motto: "BURN!"
Bio: Little is known about Blastzone's past beyond the fact that, unlike most Cybertronians, his personality matrix seems to be encoded directly into his laser core, forming a one-piece 'spark' of life. Blastzone's 'Spark' was discovered in the Eurasian super continent sometime in the rough 1100 to 1200's by a resource gathering team from the Mars Decepticons and brought back to Mars where it was placed in the body of a construction drone. Unfortunately, Blastzone's datatracks were damaged and he knew nothing about who he was, what faction he was, or how he had arrived on Earth. The only remaining personality traits he had were destructive/pyromaniacal tendencies and an ingrained obedience to authority, often referring to ranking officers by title even when unnecessary. Over time, the construction drone body that Blastzone inhabits has been modified from a drill-tank to a halftrack-tank equipped with twin plasma cannons that serve as both weapons and alternate arms in robot mode.
As the Cybertronian Wars rage, scientists of both the Autobots and Mars Decepticons continue to study the unique 'Spark' of Blastzone, hoping to one day adapt the concept and technology to benefit all Cybertronians...

Name: Starburst Function: Warrior Alt Mode: futuristic car (Solar powered)
Motto: "I’m a good guy, I’m just not a NICE guy.”
Bio: The solar energy power source Starburst uses to supplement his energon requirements, fed by the solar panels on his car and robot forms, is of his own design. This energy can also be used as a weapon by redirecting it out through his hand lasers in the form of photon bolts (not unlike those used by the Omnibot Camshaft). Unfortunately, if Starburst’s solar panels are damaged in combat (or simply by hitting something in vehicle mode) he can’t absorb solar energy to power himself or to use as photon bolts until they’re repaired, limiting him to his energon power systems and standard-issue weapons.
**==
Name: Infiniti Function: Scientist Alt Mode: (Jet)
Motto: "The possibilities are endless…"
Bio: Among a group of Cybertronians where strange ways of thinking are the rule and not the exception, Infiniti has perhaps one of the strangest ways. Originally built as a team manager/tactician for the Polyhex Gladiator team (Ironically enough, a team that was a common opponent of the Tarnish team that her present leader, Stormmaster, was once a part of.), Infiniti’s programming automatically plots out the result of every possible action and reaction in any given situation, essentially giving her an ability akin to precognition. The drawback to this is that if something unexpected happens, Infiniti is completely thrown off until her processors can adjust to the new information, leaving her all but defenseless.
**==
Name: Sinker Function: Aquatic Warrior Alt Mode: Hovercraft
Motto: "Time for your Bismarck impression!"
Bio: Having come from a planet of solid metal, Sinker was fascinated by the neighboring planet in the solar system that the group of Decepticons led by Stormmaster had begun to call home, a planet that was mostly covered by H2O, an element that Sinker had heard of, but had never seen. On a scouting mission to the third planet, Sinker became hooked on water, studying it and modifying his hovercraft mode to be capable of traversing it and submerging beneath it if need be. Sinker actually spends as little time on Mars as possible, preferring the wide and deep waters of Earth to the red sands of Mars. For most, the study of naval history is a hobby, Sinker considers it more than that, having been there for several turning points in it, including the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in World War II. Sinker’s habit of submerging to investigate anything interesting in Earth’s oceans is dangerous since few other Cybertronians can reach that far down, meaning that if anything happens, he’s on his own.
**==
Name: Warthog Rank: Ground Combatant/Recon Function: Warrior Alt Mode: Halo Warthog (Argo)
Motto: “Chupathingy, how about that?”
Bio: Warthog, formerly known as Spinout, used to be sane... Then one of the Mars Decepticon Seeker femmes, Bloodangel, introduced him to the Earthen web-based show known as “Red Vs. Blue”. He was hooked from the first episode he saw, even going so far as to have Uplink rebuild him into an alternate form similar to that of the Warthog from the show and changing his name to match. To say that he’s lost it would be an understatement as he now speaks almost exclusively in lines from the show and constantly sings the theme when driving across Mars or Earth. Amazingly, Warthog is actually a better soldier than before, so his RvB addiction is tolerated by his fellow Mars Decepticons…
Of course, it helps that Stormmaster is also an RvB fan.
**==
AUTOBOT Name: Stormfront Function: Meteorologist/Air Warrior Alt Mode: Modified F-15 Eagle with rocket boosters. (White with blue and grey details)
Motto: "Hit like a hurricane, fade like a summer shower."
Bio: Much like Starscream and Skyfire, Stormfront was a scientist before the war. Unlike his fellow Seeker, when the war began, Stormfront remained neutral because he had no interests in conquests or felt the Decepticons that great a threat. All of that changed when Starscream, once one of the greatest graduates of the Cybertron Science Academy personally blasted the Academy to rubble and sent Stormfront spiralling out of his neutrality and into the Autobot ranks, becoming branded a traitor to his design by other Seekers the moment the Autobrand was placed on his frame. Whether Cybertron's ion storms or Earth's various weather patterns, the weather of a battlefield can win or lose a battle as much as the weapons of those fighting it. Stormfront's presence in the Autobots' ranks give them an advantage both in his specialized weather-tracking equipment and his experience in reading the environment around him - he can often tell what's going to happen with the weather in the area around him by watching the plants and animals before his equipment can tell him. While he has a personal grudge against Starscream for the destruction of the CSA, Stormfront would rather be following air currents or tracking a weather front than fighting in the front lines, but when he's present for a battle, his combination of Cyclone and Lightning Guns, as well as his Acid Rainmaker Rifle make him as destructive to anything that stands against him as many of the most powerful forms of weather that he studies.

DINOBOT Name: Kludge Function: Warrior/Computer Expert Alt Mode: Tupuxuara (basically, it's a giant dinosaur similar to the pteranodon and pterodactyl...)
Motto: "Yes, I AM a Dinobot!"
Bio: While some wonder about a relation to Autobot Dinobots Smudge of the SkitsMix and Nudge of the Blackstaff and the Decepticon Dinobot Bludge of the Freaks because of her name, others take Kludge's aerial alternate form and ability to form complete sentences as proof of there being no connection. Kludge herself isn't saying anything one way or the other. While a warrior like any Dinobot, Kludge takes as deep an interest in computer technology as Swoop of the original Dinobot team does in medical studies, even spending most of her free time studying modern and past computer designs and programming. Much of the remaining time is spent with Swoop discussing the similarities between their fields of interests, the similar designs of their alternate modes and their intelligence leading to several Autobots making jokes about "Aerial Dinobots are always the smart ones" and about Swoop and Kludge 'settling down and raising a nest of intelligent road-crossers'...
Well, at least, they were making jokes like that until Grimlock and Stormmaster got ahold of them and let Kludge and her talons have their way with them. It's been said that the barest mention of what followed is often enough to cause hardened Autobot warriors to want to hide under their recharge berths...

'Kludge', for those that don't know, is a 'Valley Speak' term that's usually used to refer to a piece of malfunctioning or outdated equipment. (I.E.: "Kludge!" "Piece of kludge!" "Mega-kludge to the max!")

MARS DECEPTICON Name: Horrorshow Sub-Group: Horrorcon Quadrochanger Function: Shock Trooper Alt Mode: Ape/Air Guardian jet/Ground Assualt vehicle (HMW: A-10?)
Mini-Con Partner: Alamo
Motto: "You'd better make sure I STAY down!"
Bio: The Cybertronian Great Wars, like any civil wars, turn brother against brother, among these sundered relationships is that of the Decepticon Horrorcons, Apeface, Snapdragon and Horrorshow. While Apeface and Snapdragon chose to follow Megatron in his dreams of conquest, Horrorshow simply wanted freedom, choosing to go with Stormmaster when the former ground commander rebelled and broke off from the main Decepticon army. During the wandering that followed, Horrorshow's closest friend was one of the Microns in the group, a Minicon named Alamo. Between the skill of the small Minicon and the sheer power of the larger Horrorcon, who was almost twice the size of most of what would later be known as the "Mars Decepticons", they were able to accomplish any task set before them. But now, with the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth awake and the war rejoined, Horrorshow often finds himself wondering if they'll be able to handle the task that approaches each time Megatron's force succeed in sending energon back to Cybertron to reawaken the Decepticons in statsis - fighting his brother Horrorcons.
-
Name: Alamo Sub-Group: Minicon Function: Support Trooper/Military Historian Alt Mode: Osprey helicopter
Motto: "Do you know what happened in the Earth year A.D. 1814? You're about to experience a reinactment!"
Bio: Alamo is to overall warfare what Rewind is to everything, Eject is to sports, or Sinker is to naval history. When he's not helping his partner Horrorshow, Alamo spends most of his time studying the history of warfare on Earth, the smaller battles as well as the big ones. Using this knowledge, he can usually predict what an enemy will do based on what others have done in similar situations. Unfortunately, he can become so distracted by the similarities between the battle he's in and historical battles that if it wasn't for Horrorshow, he'd be long-since deactivated.

MARS DECEPTICON Name: Dart Function: Courier Alt Mode: Mag-Lev Train
Motto: "When it needs to be there yesterday..."
Bio: Dart is who Stormmaster turns to when he needs a message delivered that's too sensitive for normal communications channels. Using superconductive electromagnets in his frame, Dart is able to move at high speeds over any terrain in both forms, allowing for rapid delivery of whatever he's been entrusted with. While unarmed in train mode, Dart's developed the ability to use the same electromagnetism that allows him to hover over the ground to form an electromagnetic shield that deflects most energy beams and repells attacks that use metallic devices such as missiles. Unfortunately, while this shield protects him from some attacks, other methods like Cyclone Guns or acid, methods that aren't metal or energy based, aren't stopped by Dart's EM shield. In vehicle mode, beyond his EM shield, Dart lacks any true offensive or defensive capabilites, leaving him to rely on speed and manuverability to survive until his fellow Mars Decepticons, or even their Autobot allies, can arrive.

NEUTRAL Name: Lifeline Function: Medic Alt Mode: 'LifeForce' helicopter
Motto: "Medic inbound!"
Bio: Lifeline is perhaps one of the few Cybertronians that are both neutral and involved in the Great Wars, because to her, remaining uninvolved and violating her medical oath by letting people die would have been far worse than becoming involved and risking her own death to save the lives of others. Unlike Ratchet or Uplink, she refuses to wear any form of insignia beyond the Medical Cross, feeling that doing so would violate her neutrality and cause injured combatant to refuse aid by making it seem that her care might be biased if they wore the insignia of the other side. While much of her equipment, such as flares and scalpels, could be used offensively in the proper circumstances, the only truely offensive weapons Lifeline permits herself to carry are the swords that form her rotory assembly in chopper mode. She will only use them to defend her patients, and then will only disable, never kill. The drawback to her swords is that if they're damaged in any way, Lifeline is stranded in robot mode until they're replaced.

MARS DECEPTICON Name: Overrun Function: Berserker Alt Mode: Rhino
Motto: "Come with me to the Pit!"
Bio: There are those that say that soldiers are already dead and their bodies haven't caught up yet. For no one is this truer than Overrun. If Red Alert is simply pessimistic and Dead End is fatalistic, then a term has yet to be found to discribe Overrun. Few know what happened in his past to make him the way he is, to drive him to the point where he throws himself into each battle hoping not to make it out. Overrun doesn't care how many of his enemies die, just as long as he joins them. Overrun refuses to carry a weapon, not out of pacifistic beliefs, but because it makes it easier for his opponents to damage him. In fact, he only wears armor because his teammates force him to. While this complete disregard for his own survival makes him extremely dangerous in combat, it also makes it difficult to convince Overrun to go in for repairs since any injury repaired takes him one more step away from his ultimate goal of death.

MARS DECEPTICON: Name: Highground Function: Sniper/Mercenary Alt Mode: Mi-24 'Hind' helicopter
Motto: "It's not just a pretty name, I'm an aircraft, I've ALWAYS got the high ground."
Bio: When someone wants something dirty done that they don't want traced back to them, they contact the Combaticon Swindle. When what that someone wants is too dirty for Swindle, then they give Highground a call. While his specialty is "long-range assassinations with aerial insertion and extraction", a fancy way of saying, 'fly in, shoot the target from a distance and fly out', Highground is also known to deliver forceful warnings, pull bodyguard duty, and also do the occasional dirty op for Earth governments that don't want anything to lead back to them. However rough he plays, Highground still has some morals, he refuses to kill women and children or femmes unless they're trying to kill him, he only accepts contracts with good reasons behind them, and he never, ever, kills or harms anyone other than his target. Those morals are the only reason Stormmaster lets him remain with the Mars Decepticons, and Highground knows that if he were ever to abandon them, the next contract he'd be involved with would be one out on his own cranial unit...

MARS DECEPTICON: Name: Scrap-Iron Function: Demolitions Alt Mode: Walker-Tank (Cybertron Scrapmetal mold.)
Motto: "Beauty in Rubble."
Bio: While some like Hoist and Grapple or Scrapper of the Constructicons consider the creation of a construct to be beautiful, Scrap-Iron's love is in the destruction of it. The precise placement of charges to bring down a structure without damage to its former surroundings, which supports to remove beforehand, even what the exact amount of explosive to bring a twenty story skyscraper down with the first blast is, these are the things he enjoys. It's even rumored that Scrap-Iron is really the owner, operator and secret behind one of Earth's top demolition companies. Scrap-Iron's Cybertronian walker-tank mode is equipped with electromagnets on the legs and hover systems throughout the frame to give it balance and allow him to scale vertical surfaces and even travel upside down on ceilings and the undersides of structures. Armed in both modes with a high-yield plasma cannon, Scrap-Iron also carries various explosives not only of Earthen and Cybertronian origins, but also explosives gathered during the Mars Decepticons' wandering through the galaxy. Some even claim that he possesses what may be the last Illudium-37PX Explosive Space Modulator in existance...

MARS DECEPTICON Name: Kobushi Function: Minicon Combat Specialist Alt Mode: Dune Buggy
Motto: "Fight with honor and respect."
Bio: During the early days of the Great War, Kobushi came to the conclusion that personal perfection could be attained through challenging combat. Every enemy defeated, he believes, adds to his own power as a warrior. He has devoted his life to improving his martial skill, including studying the ancient art of Metallikato alongside the warrior known as Bludgeon. One of the few opponents he has yet to succeed in battle against is the former gladiator known as Stormmaster, causing the Minicon to join Stormmaster and others in their departure from the ranks of the main Decepticon army and exodus from Cybertron in the hopes of eventually beating the larger Cybertronian. Their numerous matches over the centuries have given Kobushi and Stormmaster an understanding of each other matched by few, an understand that has unlocked inside them the ability to Powerlink, to link together and combine their power to become a force unmatched.
(What can I say? I like Kobushi from the Cybertron Minicon 2-packs, I think he'd make a nice Mars D-Con.)

MARS DECEPTICON Name: Krunix ('Crunch' being the English trans-literation) Function: Artillery Alt Mode: Gun Motto: "Save some for me!" Bio: (Based on s90690880.onlinehome.us/jhiaxus/uscomics/cyclonus2krunix.htm ) Krunix is perfectly happy being long-range fire support for the frontline fighters in the Autobots and Mars Decepticons, his only real problem being that he doesn't always get as many 'kills' in battles as those who are in the thick of them do. Loyal to a fault to his teammates, Krunix often puts himself at risk to support them in combat. Always as ready to fire off one-liners as he is to fire energy shells, Krunix has been heard to refer to himself as a 'gestalt's popgun,' a discription that confuses some and amuses others. Stormmaster has warned Krunix that if he keeps it up, one of these days he'll find himself in gun mode being fired by a gestalt. While this has yet to happen, everyone's just waiting for it, even Krunix himself. **== MARS DECEPTICON Name: Wipe-Out Function: espionage Alt Mode: Pontiac Trans-Am Motto: "As you say, sir!" Bio: (Based on s90690880.onlinehome.us/jhiaxus/uscomics/wipeout.htm ) Why Wipe-Out joined the Mars Decepticons in their exodus is a question asked by everyone, the sycophantic suck-up would be more at home among Megatron's forces. Fortunately, when he's not busy trying to ingratiate himself to anyone who outranks him, Wipe-Out can be quite quiet, equipped (hey, I used three words with the letter q in them in a row!) with sonic dampening devices in both modes that allow him to move with almost no sound. Physically very weak and carrying little weaponry, Wipe-Out relies on stealth to keep him alive. This is aided by the fact that the spy is also a total coward, a fact that runs contrary to his constant attempts to kiss up to his commanders. **== MARS DECEPTICON Name: Mindset Function: Warrior Alt Mode: missile tank Motto: "I never do anything halfway." Bio: (based on s90690880.onlinehome.us/jhiaxus/uscomics/mindset.htm)Powerful, ruthless in combat, and follows orders all discribe Mindset. Unfortunately, Mindset is also one of the most narrowminded Mars Decepticons, having a low opinion of the Autobots and an even lower one of non-Cybertronian life. Like Wipe-Out, this makes Mindset one of the odder Transformers to have been part of Stormmaster's faction during the sundering of the Decepticons, one can only assume that Mindset has his own reasons for not following Megatron or even Thunderwing, but if he does he has yet to mention or discuss them. Mindset does his job, and for the moment, that's all that matters. **== MARS DECEPTICON Name: Fox Five (refers to Pilot radio-shorthand for a mid-air collision - subject to change) Function: Air Warrior Alt Mode: F-15 Eagle Motto: "Prepare to be FUBAR'd." Bio: (Based on this picture; s90690880.onlinehome.us/jhiaxus/images/oddities/general/starscreamfusion_an1986_02.jpg ) Fox Five is a tank-smasher, unlike most Seekers his main function isn't simple air support, but air-to-ground assault. Instead of the usual guns or missiles, Fox Five's primary weapons are a pair of low-yield Fusion Cannons similar to those carried by Megatron, but far, far less powerful. An expert at terrain-following flight, Fox Five enjoys the mountains and canyons of Earth and Mars because of the greater challenge they present than Cybertron. While his alternate form is the same as that of many other Seekers who've taken on Earthen forms, Fox Five's speed and manuverability is less due to the additional weight and drag of his fusion cannons in jet mode. Fortunately, his fellow Mars Decepticons are perfectly willing to watch out for the aerial heavy weapons specialist. Fox Five might not be as agile as other Seekers, but it's made up for by the fact that when his weapons hit a target, they don't get back up. **== MARS DECEPTICON Name: Skywriter Function: Technician Alt Mode: F-15 Eagle (Modified) Motto: "If it's broke, fix it. If it can't be fixed, break it some more." Bio: (Robot mode: s90690880.onlinehome.us/jhiaxus/images/generic/ukcomics/103/g103_02.jpg ) Skywriter's jet mode has been modified so many times over the years that it's almost unrecognizable from its F-15 base, being more a mix of Earthen and Cybertronian designs. Whenever Uplink has a new design or idea, Skywriter is usually his partner-in-crime when it comes to working it out. Skywriter would almost be able to be a technician in his own right instead of primarily an assistant if it wasn't for one problem, his temper. When something goes wrong, Skywriter's first instinct is to smash it against the nearest solid object until it's a mess of broken parts. Because of this habit, few other technicians are willing to work with him besides Uplink.

Psst! That should be Fox Four: Fox One - BVR (Radar) Missle Shot Fox Two - Short Range (Heat-seeker) Missle Shot Fox Three - Gun kill Fox Four - Mid-air collision *Shakes head* First two, yeah, but then it's catawampus. Fox Three is Smart Missiles, not guns. Guns is Fox Four (or "Guns"), and collisions are Fox Five.
