*Rubs his hand back and forth across his forehead*
I don't get it, I just don't get it...
What childishness, what arrogance, what sheer level of... I don't even know the word for it...
What compels people to hunt down stories featuring pairings that they don't like or even hate - and that they KNOW those are their feelings on - just to leave rude and insulting reviews? Especially when they themselves have written precisely - zilch.
It's not like it's going to change my opinions on the pairings I support - I know who I like with whom and I normally stand by it until and unless someone manages to present me with a convincing argument that another partner for one of them is just as good (Let's just say that I can now support Trip/Hoshi as much as Trip/T'Pol)... But calling me names, insulting the characters and preaching about how someone is one of the character's partner in canon (and we all know my opinion about canon; Usually I like to fire it out of a cannon...) doesn't incline me to reconsidering my beliefs, all it does is add the belief that the reviewer is an idiot and a jerk, a scoundrel and a villian and a knave... and I'm getting loquatious again.
Really, why do people do it? It just makes them look stupid...
