Just maim authors of Raven/Robin stories.

*Flipping through Amanda's Magical Almanac and glancing up at Amanda and Alex.*
Wedding superstitions? Female fertility magic? Discovering your past lives?
Is this an almanac or a seduction manual?

What's wrong with Starfire/Raven stories?

Alex: I hope you've made your will up-to-date...

A big sticking point with some GL fans is that in the Static Shock episode guest-starring John Stewart and Sinestro, Static appearantly recharged Stewart's Power Ring himself using his powers and not a Power Battery...
But Stewart just says that 'a friend' recharged it...
And there's at LEAST two Green Lanterns from Earth: John Stewart and Kyle Raynor...
If Kyle was on Earth, then Stewart might have used KYLE's Battery to recharge his ring...
At the same time, the DC Animated Universe (Batman, Superman, Static Shock, and JL/JLU - Teen Titans is stated to take place in a different continuality, and Bruce Timm would know since he's the man behind the shows) doesn't say for or against Hal Jordon (suspected against, since the first time John wears a Power Ring, it's Jordon's because he wanted out of the Corps), Guy Gardner (could be either way...) or Alan Scott (The FIRST human Green Lantern) being on active duty as Green Lantern Corps members or on Earth, so John Stewart could've used their Batteries and all Static did was contact Stewart's fellow Lantern.

Hm. But then, why isn't the beam from his recharged ring the same color green as other Lanterns, or as ... pliant?

Well, that can actually support the Alan Scott angle.
You see, Alan's Power Battery is actually part Power Battery, which is Oan energy, and part Starheart, which is magical energy, which could possibly affect how a purely Oan energy-based Power Ring recharges from it.
(Assuming, of course, that at this point Alan is still Green Lantern and has yet to internalize the power of his Lantern/Starheart and become the Sentinel.)
Or maybe the Guardians had a hand in it. I mean, they did remove the weakness to yellow from the Power Ring that eventually became Alan's (Later adding a new weakness: wood) and from Kyle Raynor's much later on, so it's possible that they temporarily modified John's ring so that it could be recharged from other sources...
I will shine my light over dark things, For dark things cannot stand the light, The light of the Green Lantern. -- Alan Scott's oath.
In brightest day, In blackest night, No evil shall escape my sight, Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power; Green Lantern's light. -- Hal Jordon's motto, also adopted by John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Raynor, and many other Green Lanterns.
*steals the keyboard.*
No matter the odds, No matter the foe, I'll fight for what's right, using this power, the Green Lantern's Light.
(My own version.)
*takes back the keyboard and groans.* I married a Green Lantern fan...
*leans over and types* Could be worse. You could have married a Superman fan.
*visibly shudders.*

*Flipping through Amanda's Magical Almanac and glancing up at Amanda and Alex.* Wedding superstitions? Female fertility magic? Discovering your past lives? Is this an almanac or a seduction manual? I only got it because I've got the 2004 and 2005 editions. I had no clue what was in the 2006 one.
Damned lucky purchase, though.

Put simply, link three is the song I told you about. I labeled it friends only so I wouldn't get playgerized.
