About Tyrone: The basis of Tyrone's creation was to be the opposite of every shonen hero in anime and manga. Since most shonen heroes are modeled after/clones of Goku from DragonBall/Z, I'll use him as an example. Goku: - Will eat virtually anything that cannot speak a language he understands.
- Is as dumb as a jar of mayo (This is an insult to jars of mayo everywhere).
- Is extremely powerful for his age/bodytype/species.
- Uses straightforward attacks and overwhelming strength to defeat his enemies.
- Is gregarious and kind and believes most other people are the same way.
- Has many friends (or people he calls friends even if they don't exactly feel the same way; See: Vegita).
Tyrone: - Is a very picky eater (organizes Skittles and M&Ms by color before eating them [red, oranges, yellows, etc.], hates any food covered in sauces or condiments).
- Is a genius (IQ 188 since age 12).
- Is of average strength for his age and bodytype, but is a bit clumsy.
- Does not know any martial arts and carries no weapons, so he must either rely on others to defend him or outwit his opponents.
- Keeps to himself, has trust issues and is afraid of the opinions and criticism others may have of his... quirks.
- Has only two real friends: Kirby and Megan. He associates with others only out of necessity.
Tyrone is L, but black and with a slightly better sense of fashion. ... In fact, even L would find Tyrone kinda difficult to be around.

You know, I've always wondered and part of that just made me wonder more...
We know somewhat how Tyrone and Kirby met, but how did Tyrone meet Megan and ...Ratchet, I believe his name was?

Tyrone met Megan during his first dig in Indonesia. She aided the local archeologists in carrying them and their equipment over some treacherous terrain. Tyrone was so impressed by her efficient if unorthodox methods and hired her for his next dig. She, like Kirby, was non-judgmental of Tyrone's behavior, which he appreciated, but never opened up to him. She technically forced her way into his personal life, forcing Tyrone to open up to her about his life. While he isn't fond of the way they became close, Tyrone knows Megan is one of the few people he can trust with everything he's feeling. That makes her, for lack of a better word, his friend.
Ratchet (Ricardo Thatchet) is little more than Tyrone's "fence"; someone he goes to for necessary equipment. He met Rathcet through Megan (And I'm not sure how Meg knows Ratchet yet). While Ratchet admires Tyrone's adventurous nature and his intelligence, Ty rarely thinks of the kid unless he needs anything. They have never met in person and only communicate online.

...So, basically he's like Wade from Kim Possible?

...So, basically he's like Wade from Kim Possible? Yup. ^^ Regarding the reworking of Gary Indiana: If Tyrone is L, then Gary is Ryuk. No, I didn't make a mistake there. As Ryuk's DN bounces from one "Kira" to another, Gary gets passed around from organization to organization. One moment, he's with a crime syndicate, the next he's working with Somalian pirates, the next he's joined up with a smuggling ring. In the end, Gary decides what he does and for how long. Others may believe they control him, but he only lets them think so for as long as he can profit from it. At which point he double crosses them, takes all their money and resources and either leaves them to the authorities or kills them. The only group that he really owes allegiance to is the American East India Company, an artifact smuggling ring that operates under the guise of a legal antiques dealership and auction house. Gary is the go-to guy to get wanted antiquities from the most dangerous areas on Earth. Gary lives for the challenge and the opportunity to destroy men he deems more corrupt than he is. The battle of wits between himself and Tyrone is - more often than not- all that keeps him from quitting the more boring of his duties.

Mm.
I withhold comment until I learn how his relationship with Eric (I think?) is changed.

Haven't worked everything regarding Eric out yet, but as far as the criminal father - less-criminal son relationship goes nothing's changed.
Eric is still Gary's illegitimate son. Gary still taught him everything he knows, Eric's still wants to get out of his father's shadow and only go after the most corrupt criminals. Eric's still teamed up with Interpol to nab his father so he can clear his own rap sheet.
The only major change is that Interpol trusts Eric about as much as they would trust Gary (whereas when I first made him, Eric and the ICPO were practically best buddies). He's kept on a very short leash. At times the only outside help Eric can get in regards to capturing Mr. Indiana is Tyrone.
And Tyrone - true to his nature - isn't very fond of any of them, no matter how legal their intents.

The American east India Company: "Cairo", a former Somalian pirate. "Dow," The group accountant (Someone's gotta make sure they get paid!), a Sri Lankan refugee. "Vic," (remember her?) former yakuza member. "Cash," Gary's old mercenary friend. "Mr. England," their boss, an antiques auctioneer.
